2025 Bleckley Day Reception with "Babs" Mellor
October 6th, 2025, the 107th Anniversary of Erwin Bleckley and Harold Goettler’s Medal of Honor Mission, saw the Bleckley Foundation host a mixer/reception at the Workshop. The event’s Featured Speaker was “Babs” Moeller. Her presentation was on making a life-size, bronze statue of Erwin Bleckley for the planned Erwin Bleckley Memorial.
The event was held to raise money for completing the statue. A donation to the Bleckley Foundation will help fund the Wichita Sculptors Guild’s work.
